Welcome to the Steve Barney State Farm Agent office! I have been your local State Farm agent in St. Petersburg, FL since July of 2021. I was born in Oxford, England and moved to Kansas City at 18, where I would earn my Accounting and Business Administration degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, play soccer and football as an Academic All-American athlete, and meet my amazing wife, Taylor. When my dad received a devastating diagnosis and we realized we had no Life Insurance plan in place, I had a lightbulb moment and decided I wanted to help put other families in a better place in case the worst happens. In 2021, I moved to St. Petersburg to open my agency and have loved helping individuals, families, and business owners with all their insurance needs ever since!
